Vermont in September - what could be nicer? How about temperatures under 100!!!
We hit the heat wave on our trip.
Our trip actually started in Niagara Falls. We had much fun and one highlight was our trip on the boat Maid of the Mist which takes you to the falls. I think I'd name it Maid of the Fire Hose!

In Vermont we stayed at Smuggler's Notch which is a terrific resort in north central Vermont. It was our "base" for all the day trips we took - mostly to the microbreweries and covered bridges.
